Each of us has a deep need to connect with God. Worship is the time when we choose to gather as a community in order to connect with our Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer. You are invited to come experience God by worshiping with us. We are not perfect. But every time we gather for worship, we encounter God together. We see fresh evidence of God’s presence, blessing, and faithfulness to us. We hear God speaking to us through the Word. We recommit our lives to God again. We receive God's grace through the breaking of bread and the blessing of the cup.
All of this glorifies God in worship and makes us more whole.
Our 10:30 am worship service offers a warm setting for our Pastor to share creative
insights into scripture. While we worship using traditional hymns most weeks,
we sing a mix of contemporary music once a month. Dress is casual.
Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.
Be sure to check the church calendar for additional opportunities
to join together in worship on special occasions.
During worship, children (pre-k through 5th grade) are invited to participate in Sunday School.
In Sunday School, children learn about the same scriptures as their parents, using fun videos, crafts, songs, and games. Children older than 5th grade are invited to worship alongside their parents,
or are welcome to attend and assist with Sunday School for the younger children.
Children are always welcome to stay in worship with their parents.
Nursery care is available upon request.
All adults who work with children at TUMC are cleared by our "Safe Sanctuaries" policy.
This ensures that all God's children are safe and protected from harm.
We are located at 952 Patuxent Road in the historic Woodwardville
neighborhood of Odenton, MD. We look forward to seeing you there!
